Component.app began with the same conclusion from two different careers: standard software rarely fits the work, while traditional custom software remains out of reach for too many businesses.

13+ years in business softwareLiang has more than 13 years of business software experience. An engineer and former Microsoft team member, he has served more than 100 enterprise clients in Singapore—including DBS, Temasek, Wilmar, Singapore Airlines (SIA), SATS, Changi Airport, IKEA, and CapitaLand—alongside many SMEs.
Across companies of every size, he saw the same mismatch: standard SaaS could not adapt to real operating needs, while custom software remained expensive and slow to deliver.
He founded Component.app to use AI to make tailored business software accessible—not only to large enterprises.

8+ years in B2B servicesVivien has more than 8 years of B2B service experience across media, real estate, and other sectors, progressing into director-level leadership roles.
She has led business digitalisation using SAP and custom-built systems. Large transformation projects took time and were difficult to predict, while many smaller needs stayed unresolved as the business changed.
She co-founded Component.app to make continuous software improvement practical for growing companies.
